Description
Product Manager (PM) Force Sustainment Systems (PM FSS) manages Force Provider. PM FSS is an Army program management organization located in Natick, MA and is part of Program Manager Force Projection, Program Executive Office Combat Support and Combat Service Support. This requirement is being set aside for 8A/Hubzone contractors to perform the necessary tasks for the production, assembly, receipt, storage, packaging, preservation and shipment of one (1) six hundred (600)-person Expeditionary Force Provider (EFP) module (Rev D), National Stock Number (NSN) 5419-01-473-2297 (Tan). EFP is a modular concept of habitat. The NAICS Code for this requiement is 488991. Each expeditionary system consists of one stand-alone module that contains in one package all materiel necessary to support six hundred (600) soldiers, and can be tailored into 4 150-person configurations. Each EFP system support six hundred (600) soldiers with facilities normally expected in a Staging Base area (i.e., billeting, food service, showers, latrines, laundry, and recreational and support services), which enhances morale and welfare. EFP is an air and surface transportable system that can support military operations across a broad spectrum including rest and refit or theater reception, and humanitarian efforts in the case of natural disasters.The contractor must demonstrate the ability to purchase, receipt, inventory control, pack and preserve in accordance with the approved packing plan, the 400 plus items that make up a Force Provider Expeditionary Module. The major components of the Module include, but are not limited to, Generators, Tentage, Expeditionary Tricon Systems (Latrine, Shower, Kitchen, Shower Water Reuse, Laundry) electrical and water subsystems.
