- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to negotiate and award a contract on a noncompetitive basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to CerAnode Technical International 4011 Riverside Dr. Dayton, OH 45405, to purchase 200 lbs. of Magnesium Anodes with 30 ft. leads of stainless cable and electrical cable. This product will be delivered to the Clewiston, FL area. SIC Code is 3812, NAICS Code is 334511, Size standard is 500 Employees. The sole source determination is based upon CerAnode Technologies International, Division of APS Materials, Inc. market research has shown this company being the only vendor that can provide the required anodes needed. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 10:00 a.m. EST on 25 September 2009.
