R-Facilitation Services - NationwideSources Sought Number: VA-325-09-RP-0001Agency: Department of Veterans AffairsOffice: St. Louis Location: Nationwide NAIC Code541611Small Business Size Standard:$6.5MProduct Service CodeR799Other management support services Facilitation Needs AssessmentThe Department of Veterans Affairs Employee Education System (EES) is currently in the process of developing contracting mechanisms to meet the demand for facilitation services. In order to ensure that the contracting vehicle developed meets the Department's needs we are requesting interested vendors provide the following. Unless otherwise noted, all responses should be based on your firms experience over the last three years.1.Provide information on the spectrum of facilitation services that your firm has supported over the last three years. Include examples of facilitations done, audience composition, audience size, complexity, types of facilitations etc. 2.The number of facilitations that your firm has supported over the last three years. 3.The number of facilitation services that your firm has supported over the last three years that were 100 miles or more from your primary business location. 4.The number of times that your firm has sub-contracted out for a specific expertise. If so what was the expertise you subcontracted for? 5.Please list the area(s) of subject matter expertise of your facilitators have, including but not limited to; Leadership, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Six Sigma, Lean Thinking, Systems Redesign, Patient Centered Care, Learning Organizations, Coaching and Mentoring, Team Building, Acquisition, etc. 6.The average number of facilitators employed on a full time basis. 7.The average number of facilitators employed on a part time basis. 8.List any special skills, knowledge, experience, certifications, or education your facilitators have in order to do facilitate meetings or events. 9.Describe what specific tasks your facilitators perform as a part of their facilitation work (ie developing meeting agenda, facilitating meeting, recording minutes, resolving conflicts, reaching consensus, providing debriefs, etc.) 10.What are your proposed facilitation methodologies/approaches? 11.Do you currently have a GSA Schedule or any other government wide area contract (GWAC)? 12.If so what GSA Schedule and/or GWAC are you listed under and are an awardee of? 13.What is the average lead time you need to identify a facilitator? 14.What is the average number of facilitation engagements your firm can support simultaneously? 15.Please identify your firms size status based upon one or more of the following and the small business size standard of average receipts of less than $6.5M over the last three years.: a.Small Disabled Owned Veteran Businessb.Veteran Owned Small Businessc.Minority Owned Small Businessd.Woman Owned Small Businesse.Small Businessf.Other than Small Business The information provided as a result of this request will be used to:1.Help determine the most appropriate procurement vehicle.2.Assist the Department in determining the number of contracts to be awarded.3.Help us best describe the work that needs to be performed, the skills and capabilities available from the vendor community, and the projected capacity to provide services.
