- Description
- This is a copy of the redacted J&A for the Monaco D-21 map upgrade. Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole-source acquisition to provide an upgrade to the D-21 Monaco Fire Reporting System with the D-21M (mapping) to Monaco Enterprises, 14820 E SPRAGUE AVE, SPOKANE, WA 99216-2191. No other contractor is capable of providing this service due to lack of knowledge base as well as the unique proprietary ability to service said items. Monaco Enterprises is the sole provider of these items, which are currently maintained under warranty for 12 months from the date of delivery but no more than 14 months after date of shipment, whichever is earlier. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Monaco Enterprises is the manufacturer of the equipment and is currently the only known company to provide the require logistic support. The procurement of this turn up must be completed in a timely manner in order to meet mission requirements.
