- Description
- The intent of this project is to upgrade and repair industrial fire alarm protection systems at Charleston Air Force Base (CAFB), South Carolina in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, specifications, National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA), Occupational Safety & Health Agency, and Americans with Disabilities standards, Underwriter Laboratories standards, and commercial practices as described in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) with the focus on safety and customer service. All components installed by the contractor shall be new. The Contractor is encouraged and expected to use innovative approaches to efficiently and effectively accomplish all requirements of the POW in a timely manner at reduced cost and in a way that fosters pride and ownership in the work performed. The systems shall be code compliant with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and American with Disabilities Act (ADA).
