Attachment 1 - Draft SOW-Deliverables Attachment 2 - NIH Infrastructure Security Requirements RECOVERY – THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY AVALIABLE TO CONTRACTORS UNDER DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY, DEFENSE SUPPLY CENTER OF PHILADELPHIA (DSCP) CONTRACTS. It is the intent of the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences to solicit negotiate and award on a Limited Source basis with General Electric (GE) under DSCP contract. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is seeking to acquire to upgrade its existing GE Advantage (AW) standalone workstation technology to GE’s thin-client solution called GE AW Server. This state of art workstation will allow access to all GE’s clinical visualization applications to be viewed by authorized Clinical Center personal computer or PACS view station. The Clinical Center personal computer users will have the same access to the same diagnostic imaging capabilities as a user of standalone GE Advantage Workstation. The upgraded software is proprietary and manufactured sole by GE and designed to meet GE’s exacting requirement. This project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the act. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System code 334611, with an employee size standard of 500. This notification is not a request for quotation. The Government anticipates that there will be one (1) delivery order awarded for this requirement. If there are any responsible contractors who meet the capabilities cited to perform the requirement, they may submit experience, capabilities and qualifications as outlined in the statement of work that will be considered by the NIH. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received within the three (3) calendar days after date of publication in this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon reasons to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
