- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is not a solicitation announcement or a request for proposals or quotes, and shall not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not be acknowledged. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research in order to gain knowledge of potential qualified Large and Small Businesses interested and capable of performing the work and to make the appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this announcement must be in writing and must include the following: (a) company name; (b) address; (c) point of contact, (d) phone, fax, and email; (e) DUNS number; (f) type of small business, e.g., Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone Small Business, Women Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business; and (g) a capability statement that addresses the organization's qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. Description: RENTAL of one vaccine refrigerator with a uniform cabinet temperature of +2 to +4 degrees C, preferably upright double-door with 58 cubic-foot capacity, for use by the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. Refrigerator is needed immediately to store flu vaccine for the duration of the flu season, estimated through the end of January. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it limit the Government to a particular acquisition approach. If a solicitation is issued, the Government will in no way be bound to information submitted in response to this notice. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 532210. Notice to Potential Offerors: All Offerors who provide goods or services to the Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) located at http://www.ccr.gov. Completion of the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) located at http://orca.bpn.gov is desired. In addition, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses or Veteran Owned Businesses that respond to a solicitation must also be registered with the Vet-Biz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov. Interested Offerors should submit information by e-mail to evelyn.mckenna@va.gov or by mail to: VA Network 22 Logistics Office, Attn: Evelyn McKenna, Contract Specialist, 5901 East 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822.
