- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals from Offerors for commercial market price offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation and incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DCN 20080303. This solicitation incorporates by reference the following FAR and DFAR clauses: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-04, 52.212-05, 252.211-7003, 252-212-7001 and 252.232-7010. Please see the attached d! ocument for product description. The Government will award an order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. This is a Brand Name requirement in accordance with 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). WPAFB intends to purchase ONStor Pantera storage and Santricity Software, with Hw and Software support. (See below for exact configuration). FOB Destination.
