- This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This effort is being procured as a Total Small Business Set Aside. The Government intends to make multiple awards. This solicitation document and incorporated provision clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-36. The Agency shall have the sole right to determine if this and all other requirements have been met. Weapons must comply with or exceed all current U.S. Government standards of manufacture for firearms. At a minimum all weapons should have heavy springs, solid bolt made of a single billet of weapons grade steel, extractor, ejector and trigger made of single billet of weapons grade steel not pressed powder, heavy duty firing pin, improved action arms on the pump, double coating of parkerization to resist high humidity environments.
