- Description
- This RFI seeks to gain a better understanding of virtual world technologies as well as web based training systems that may be used either independently or can be used in combination with many kinds of models and simulations to enhance simulation based exercise and training activities. The goal is to identify such technologies and their state of readiness in order to assess their potential for use in current and future development activities. The original RFI announcement stated "RESPONSE DATE: COB 9/16/2009. DHS reserves the right to review late submissions, but can make no guarantee to the order of, or possibility for, review of late submissions." This provision is still in effect, but Organizations considering a late submission are advised that white papers submitted after 10/2 will not be reviewed or considered.
