- IDAHO AIR NATIONAL GUARD Ref # 124ASOSCC001 Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source: Warrior Pak battery box kits The Idaho Air National Guard, under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures for FAR Part 13, intends to issue a sole-source purchase order to LAT Enterprises, Inc., DBA MediPak Energy Systems for the following requirement: Line Item 001 QTY=5 EA: Warrior Pak Battery Box, Mfr Part # BBK703-02 Line Item 002 QTY=5 EA: Battery Box to top of Ruck, Mfr Part # BBR-02 Line Item 003 QTY=5 EA: Battery Box charger, Mfr Part # 1.8neis30-02 Line Item 004 QTY=5 EA: SOFLAM Cable, Mfr Part # HG-02 Line Item 005 QTY=5 EA: Splitter Cable, Mfr Part # YK-02 The determination to award sole source is based on FAR 6.302-1(a)(ii). A sole source justification has been written, which demonstrates the proprietary nature of the above items. Any company wishing to obtain a copy of the justification may contact SrA Tyler Perry via the contact information below. The premise of this justification is that MediPak Energy Systems is the exclusive provider for these items. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The government will consider all quotes received within 3 business days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All inquires and concerns must be addressed in writing to SrA Tyler Perry via the contact information below. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted. Responses to the notice must be submitted within five (5) calendar days of the electronic posting, or by 23 Sep 2009. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
