- This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1). The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Mt. Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC), Mt. Weather, VA, 20135-2006, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Federal Radio of Aberdeen, MD for the purchase of digital radios and supporting equipment to include programming Spectrum Radio Frequency compatible with FedSMR. Accordingly, Federal Radio is the only source that can satisfy this requirement. These products are considered commercial in nature IAW FAR Part 13.1. In accordance with FAR 5.2, this announcement is for informational purposes only. No Request for Quotation will be provided, and telephone requests will not be honored. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing via the e-mail link below by the response date above. Any response must show clear and convincing evidence that the responder can meet the requirements listed herein and competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
