- The Department of Veteran Affairs, VISN 9 Acquisition Service Center has a requirement for Nephrology services to be provided to veterans beneficiaries in Johnson City, Tennessee 37684. This solicitation covers nephrology services in both the inpatient and outpatient areas. The nephrologist(s) will perform these services a minimum of four hours per day or 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The contractor shall provide a qualified physician to provide nephrology care services to veteran beneficiaries enrolled at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. The contract nephrologist(s) will provide outpatient services through scheduled clinics. (With the next available appointment being within 30 days of requested date.) The contract nephrologist(s) will perform nephrology consultations and follow-ups in a timeframe as required by the patients medical condition and will also provide professional guidance for all acute hemodialysis patients.
