- The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), National Veterinary Services Laboratory (NVSL) in Ames, IA intends to issue a sole source award using commercial and simplified acquisition procedures for Two (2) Sealsafe Plus Racks (Model 2GR70CP), Two (2) Edstrom Autowatering Manifolds WS 160 Quick Disconnect Valves, Two (2) Touch SlimLine Plus Equipment Air Handling Units (Model BOX110SS) and 40 EA cage setups (model GR900SU) to be used to support ongoing testing at the NVSL to Tecniplast USA located in Exton, PA. These additional units must be integrated with existing units. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Numbered Note 22 applies.
