- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912C3-09-R-0013. This is an announcement for a Request for Proposal (RFP) W912C3-09-R-0013 for a Lease Service Contract. The work consists of a Long Term Lease of a Bucket Truck with the following specifications: (a) Manual or automatic transmission material hand-lindler aerial device (jib/winch) insulated articulating aerial device, 55 ft. platform height, 60ft. working height, 98 degree lower broom articulation, 205 degree upper boom articulation, continuous rotation, dual one-man fiberglass platform with 350 lb. platform capacity, hydraulic platform tilt, single handle control at platform with interlock trigger, hydraulic tool circuit, 2007 or newer chassis. Lease and availability of vehicle shall commence no later than 28 September, 2009. The project is 100% Set Aside for Small Businesses in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands only. The North American Industry Classification System is 532490 and the associated business size is $7 million. Vendors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The CCR website is: www.ccr.gov. The RFP package will be available at http://www.buchanan.army.mil and at https://www.fbo.gov on or about 21 September, 2009. All prospective offerors interested on obtaining a solicitation package shall visit the Fort Buchanan web-site; go to Tenants, Directorate of Contracting, and Business Opportunities.
