- RECOVERY--The required response date/time has been changed from 18 September 2009 to 23 September 2009 not later than 4:30 p.m. Effective with this amendment, the following is added to this solicitation: EM 385 1 1, SAFETY AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS. Contractors are required to comply with the latest version, and all posted changes, of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual. EM 385-1-1 and changes are available on the Internet at http://www.hq.usace.army.mil. FAR Clause 52.228-5, Insurance -- Work on a Government Installation, is applicable to this solicitation. The following questions and answers are provided for informational purposes only: Question #1: Are we to install additional footings in place of the ones we are removing? Answer #1: The existing concrete is to be broken out and install (18) 2'x2'x1' concrete footings with 12 in. stem. The concrete is to be taken out only where these footings will be placed. There is a diagram of the footings on page 6 of the specs titled Footing Detail. Question #2: The Delivery and Installation time of 1 Oct 2009 15 Oct 2009 may not be able to be obtained do to the time it take to approve the drawings and manufacture the building can take form 5 to 6 weeks from approved drawings. Can the delivery time be changed to on or before 12/31/2009? Answer #2: The Delivery and Installation has been changed to a completion date of Not Later Than 31 Dec 09. The delivery and installation shall be coordinated with government personnel. The proposed delivery and installation shall be indicated on your quote. See the revised General Information Sheet in Attachment 1. Paragraphs revised by this amendment have asterisks in the margin before and after changes to previous issue. Question #3: Could you please provide the street address of the location of the proposed boat storage building. Answer #3: The physical address for the Grenada Lake Field Office is as follows: 2202 Scenic Loop 333 Grenada, MS 38901
