- The Air Force intends to make an award on a competitive small business set-aside for a Protestant Pastoral Coordinator for one year and three option years (total 4 years). The contractor shall serve as the Protestant Pastoral Coordinator for the Base Chapel on Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. The contractor duties shall include the overall responsibility for protestant calendar development, program development, program coordination, budget development, budget tracking, database management, and program publicity at Peterson AFB, CO. The contractor shall possess adaptability and flexibility. The contractor shall be able to relate to a wide spectrum of people, and be able to meet the demands of our unique parish blend of active duty and retired personnel. The solicitation, FA2517-09-T-6180, will be available on or about 21 September 2009. The solicitation will be distributed through the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) web site http://www.fbo.gov/ Chaplain bulletin board and flyers. This requirement will be accessible to those companies deemed eligible by the information they provided when they register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) web site http://www.ccr.gov/ and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) web site http://bpn.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will be posted on the chapel employee board and be available on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). The Federal Business Opportunities web site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments and other general information, will also be distributed solely through this site. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have up-to-date information about this acquisition and are encouraged to monitor and register their company on the Interested Vendor List (IVL) and Register to Receive Notifications. This is a small business set aside. The anticipated award will be Firm Fixed Priced contract. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 813110 with a small business size standard of 6.5 Million dollars.
