HHSO10020090006I - Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) - Needle and syringe units as ancillary support items to immunize the American population against H1N1 2009 HHSO10020090005I - Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) - Needle and syringe units as ancillary support items to immunize the American population against H1N1 2009 HHSO10020090004I - Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) - Needle and syringe units as ancillary support items to immunize the American population against H1N1 2009 HHSO10020090003I - Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) - Needle and syringe units as ancillary support items to immunize the American population against H1N1 2009 The acquisition of ancillary support items to support the H1N1 vaccination campaign to protect the critical workforce and ultimately the U.S. population is therefore an urgent priority. HHS will need to call upon all available commercial manufacturing capacity to produce and acquire ancillary support items such as: needle and syringe combination units, sharps collectors, and Isopropyl alcohol prep pads to coincide with the delivery of vaccine scheduled to be available in the early September/October, 2009 timeframe. Manufacturers with a demonstrated manufacturing capacity to produce between ten to thirty million needle and syringe units per month beginning in September 2009 and lasting until February 2010 will be necessary to meet USG needs for 600 million vaccinations.
