- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7, Network Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with Specialty Refrigeration Services to provide preventive maintenance on the GE MRI trailer at the Charleston VA Medical Center, Charleston, SC. Contractor is authorized by GE to perform these services and move unit when called upon by the VA to a safe location during on-coming hurricanes. The NAICS code is 238220 and size standard is $14.0 million. The contract period will be from October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010, for a base plus four (4) option years of service. This Notice of intent is Not a REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties that can provide similar services or equal product must submit their technical specifications of product or services, past performance information, price and delivery time, detailing how their services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Specialist via e-mail or fax at: 478-274-5616. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
