Description
This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved due to Other Statutory Authority (DFARS 208.405-70(b)(1) or DFARS 216.505-70(b)(1)). This is a special notice to inform the public of the use of the Recovery Act funds. RECOVERY THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER #W9126G-07-D-0017-Ecomm The Contract Specialist for this action will be DeYon Francis (817) 886-1046; or by e-mail at deyon.a.francis@usace.army.mil. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, transportation, equipment, and materials necessary to provide archeological and cultural resources inventory of a total of 1161 acres of property located within U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District (CESWF), fee lands at Sam Rayburn Reservoir, Lake Wright Patman, and Lake O the Pines in Bowie, Cass, Angelina, Nacogdoches, Sabine, San Augustine and Marion Counties. The archeological and cultural resources inventory of the identified area is in compliance with Section 110 responsibilities of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 as amended through 1992 (P.L. 89-665 et seq.). The inventory shall identify any potential archeological sites, buildings or structures, or other resources that may be potentially eligible for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), and qualified personnel are required for each appropriate area or task as applicable. Cultural resources considerations with regard to properties covered by the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act of 1990 (P.L. 101-601 et seq.) or various covering Executive Orders shall also be recorded.
