- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved as this is a follow-on order to a competitive initial order (FAR 8.405-6(b)(2) or 16.505(b)(2)(iii). RECOVERY PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAIABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER: SUMMER CONSULTANTS, INC., W912DR-09-D-0056. The Architect-Engineer A-E contractor shall provide all necessary services required for the preparation of a complete and biddable Request for Proposal (RFP) package for the major renovation of building HVAC systems, Bldg 4725, Ft. George G. Meade, MD per Scope of Work dated 13 August 2009. Period of performance: Design-Build (DB) Request for Proposal (RFP) package must be Ready To Advertise (RTA) no later than 5 Jan 2010. Construction Phase must be completed by 31 March 2011.
