- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved as this is a follow-on order to a competitive initial order (FAR 8.405-6(b)(2) or 16.505(b)(2)(iii). RECOVERY PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAIABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER: SUMMER CONSULTANTS, INC., W912DR-09-D-0056. The Architect-Engineer (A-E) contractor shall provide all necessary services required for the preparation of a complete and biddable Request for Proposal (RFP) package for the Replacement of Heating & Ventilating (H&V) Units, Bldg 3100, Ft. George G. Meade, MD per Scope of Work dated 13 August 2009. Period of performance: Design-Build (DB) Request for Proposal (RFP) package must be Ready To Advertise (RTA) no later than 5 Jan 2010. Construction Phase must be completed by 31 March 2011.
