Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) in Gloucester Pt., Virginia to provide service to develop and run the Chickahominy River Estuarine Model. The results are to be delivered to Virginia Water Science Center, Richmond, VA, on or before December 31, 2009. There are no option periods for this requirement. Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) is the only known source for this requirement because they provide a unique capability to provide the particular research services proposed for development and running of estuarine models. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email to: toallen@usgs.gov. The NAICS code is 541690. Than anticipated award date of the contract is 10/01/2009. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. See Note 26.
