Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice Only; Please Do Not Respond With AProposal. This sources sought notice is issued in an effort to conduct additionalmarket research for information and planning purposes only. TheDepartment of Veterans Affairs (VA), Vocational Rehabilitation &Employment service (VR&E) has a requirement to provide vocationalRehabilitation and Employment Services for the Regional Office - Fargo,ND including all of North Dakota, North Western Minnesota, and limitedsouthern areas of Ontario and Manitoba, Canada. The VR&E Services solicited are: Complete Initial Assessment/Evaluation;Case Management; Employment Services; Educational and VocationalCounseling; and Discrete Services. The VA may award one or morecontracts for these services. The contracts shall be performance based, fixed price, indefinitedelivery/indefinite quantity contract. The period of performance forthe awarded contracts shall include a six-month base period and twooption periods, each three months in length. The service will be considered for sole source to Service DisabledVeteran Owned/Veteran Owned Small Business or set aside to ServiceDisabled Veteran Owned/Veteran Owned Small Business firms. Awards shallbe made based on the evaluation criteria established in thesolicitation. This announcement is not a request for competitive proposals. Allresponsible sources shall respond by submitting a written narrativestatement of capability including technical information/or othertechnical informational literature demonstrating the ability to performthe above requirements via e-mail to the point of contact below. Additionally, the contractor shall address their ability to provideservices throughout the state of North Dakota. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration(CCR), accessed via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Responses arerequested by September 24, 2009 no-later-than 2:00 p.m. Central Time. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 624310 and the size standard is 7Million.
