Description
This proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered by Tuesday, September 22, 2009, 1:00 PM EST to Bobby Jones, Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA), 633 Indiana Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20004. Or email bobby.jones@csosa.gov, Phone (202) 220-5703 or fax (202) 220-5711 The proposed acquisition is required for outpatient or transitional housing substance abuse treatment services to provide up to two (2) contractor personnel that are Licensed/Registered Substance Abuse Counselors (such as National Certified Addiction Counselor – Level I (NCAC I) or the equivalent to provide Secure Residential Treatment Counseling services. The Contractor shall deliver comprehensive, abstinence-based recovery substance abuse treatment services under this contract to offenders with substance abuse needs at the Secure Residential Treatment Program (SRTP). The SRTP is a CSOSA operated jail based substance abuse treatment program for up to 32 District of Columbia Code offenders on parole or supervised release that face revocation for documented substance abuse as evidenced by repeated positive drug-testing results, other technical violations, and, in some cases, new criminal violations. The period of performance is from date of award through a 12-month period.
