- Recovery Action - DUNS 078576738. This modification is issued to obligate American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) of 2009 funds to the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for the purpose of providing $13,900,000 in construction funding for the Seismic Safety of General Purpose Buildings, Phase II project (09-SC-72) for activities approved under associated critical decisions. Any subcontracting opportunities will be handled by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Potential subcontractors are encouraged to contact the laboratory directly. The contract is a cost reimbursement contract because the uncertainties of the research mission of the laboratory make the certainty of the estimate of costs impracticable for the use of a firm, fixed-price contract.
