- Cummins 99D9727 NSNs This modification action is for the extension of the Cummins Engine contract, SP0700-99-D-9727, from 9 October 2009 to 9 January 2010. The contract is for the Cummins Engine commercial price list. This project was initiated to ensure continued coverage on the current contract while awaiting the award of the successor contract initiative. The contract is a long-term contract, currently in its 10th and final option year. All NSNs will be posted as an attachment to this synopsis. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not posses complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: Cummins Engine and other Cummins Engine authorized dealers. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors described in the solicitation. All terms and conditions as indicated in the contract remain for the previously specified extension period.
