- Description
- The United States Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific, Alameda, CA, proposes to contract the planned dry-dock and repairs of USCGC MORGENTHAU (WHEC-722), a 378' High Endurance Cutter, home ported in Alameda, CA. All work shall be at the contractor's facility during the period of 17 February 2010 through 13 April 2010. A Geographical Restriction of within 75 road miles of cutter's permanent home port is applicable. Work items include and are not limited to: Steel renewals; CPP and hub maintenance; Bilge preservation; Underwater hull preservation; Sea valve overhaul and renewals; etc. On or about 24 September 2009, a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This procurement is "Unrestricted". The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov. A drawing CD may be requested via email to jay.s.mcreynolds@uscg.mil. AMENDMENT 1: This is an amendment to the Synopsis. All indications of 8(a) set aside are deleted. All other conditions cited in the original Synopsis remain the same. The Synopsis is not extended.
