- Description
- Award of an IDIQ contract was made on a non-competitive basis using Statutory Authority 41 USC 253(c)(3), Industrial mobilization; or engineering, developmental, or research capability; or expert services, to the Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Laboratory. This CPFF contract is for a 60-month period under which individual task orders will be issued. The total amount is not to exceed $3,000,000. Due to the nature of the work, the tasks cannot be defined well enough for issuance of FFP tasks. The purpose of the contract is to provide research, development, enhancement, operational transition and maintenance of synthetic aperture radar (SAR)-Derived winds, Space environmental monitor (SEM) senors, and other atmospheric/oceanographic products/applications for NOAA's National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service.
