- Special Notice This is not a request for proposal or a request for quote. There is no solicitation document available.This is a notice of intent of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) at the Center for Acquisition Innovation (CAI) to negotiate a sole source contract with XpoLog LTD of KFAR TRUMAN, Israel, for 400 additional licenses and software maintenance for XpoLog Manager, XpoSearch, and Xpo Dashboard software. The base period is September 30, 2009 September 29, 2010. Four option periods are included: Option 1 is 9/30/2010 9/29/2011, Option 2 is 9/30/2011 9/28/2012, Option 3 is 9/30/2012 9/29/2013 and Option four is 9/30/2013 9/29/2014. Software maintenance includes reasonable technical support and periodic updates/releases to the software. No other source is authorized to provide software maintenance services or licenses for the proprietary software other than XpoLog. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). This procurement is being conducted using FAR Part 12 procedures.
