- SPECIAL NOTICE The United States General Services Administration will be hosting a Networking Session (also known as Industry Day) for all interested subcontractors and suppliers for the design and construction phases of the modernization of the Robert Smith Vance Federal Building and United States Courthouse on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. The event will be held in Ballrooms 3 and 4 of the Birmingham Sheraton from 4:00PM to 6:00PM CST. The Birmingham Sheraton is located at 2101 Richard Arrington Jr. Boulevard in Birmingham, Alabama. Representatives from the Acquisition and Construction Divisions of GSA and representatives from the Construction Manager as-constructor (CMc) (General Contractor) will be attending. This event is scheduled for the large and small business community to market services to the awarded construction builder for this project. For information on this event please contact David A.
