Description
Solicitation details This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All inquiries and responses to this solicitation must be directed in writing to Deborah S. Hailey at deborah.hailey@dhs.gov. We anticipate a firm fixed price contract (FFP) as a result of this Request for Proposal (RFP). Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will not accept incomplete proposals. The award will be made to the responsible Offeror whose proposal provides the best overall value for the requirements described in this solicitation and is most advantageous to FEMA. FEMA requires a lease for copiers and related services at the Mississippi Recovery Office and its satellite offices. See the attached solicitation details and the Statement of Objectives (SOO). Contractors interested in responding to this solicitation are invited to submit their proposal in the form of a Performance Work Statement (PWS), specifying how they will provide the necessary equipment and services in order to meet the Government's requirements. The contract will be issued for a period of performance of one (1) year and may be extended for four (4) additional one-year option periods. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside for NAICS 532420 with a size standard of $25M. This is also a local disaster-area set-aside pursuant to the Robert T. Stafford Act. Contractors submitting a proposal must certify that they are a firm residing in or primarily doing business in the State of Mississippi. There will be a site visit on 09/23/2009. All inquiries and responses to this solicitation must be directed in writing to Deborah S. Hailey at deborah.hailey@dhs.gov on or before 10/08/2009. Answers to questions will be posted as amendments to this solicitation. Offers received after the due date and time will be considered as late submissions and will not be evaluated or considered.
