- We are revising one paragraph in the SOW Due date is still the same Our current SOW in 2b states: Vendor will provide CompTia certified instructor-led instruction, current books, software, and all technical equipment needed for successful completion of A+ Essentials, A+ 220-602, S+, N+, CISSP certification courses to meet DoD 8570.01 M mandate. Courses A+ Essentials, A+ 220-602, N+, S+ and CISSP must include certification testing as part of the curriculum. This may be accomplished by direct test proctoring by the vendor on the last day of class or by a testing voucher rendered by the vendor for use at a later date. A student guarantee of professional certification (A+ Essentials, A+ 220-602, N+, S+, CISSP) after course completion must be rendered for successful award of this contract. (See 3d below). All other courses do not require certification. After discussing this with my lead IT personnel we would like to clarify this paragraph to state: Vendor will provide CompTia certified instructor-led instruction, current books, software, and all technical equipment needed for successful completion of A+ Essentials, A+ IT Technician/Practical Application 220-602, S+, N+, CISSP certification courses to meet DoD 8570.01 M mandate. Courses A+ Essentials, A+ IT Technician/Practical Application 220-602, N+, S+ and CISSP must include certification testing as part of the curriculum. This may be accomplished by direct test proctoring by the vendor on the last day of class or by a testing voucher rendered by the vendor for use at a later date. NOTE: Since the A+ Certifications are scheduled to change in CY2010 the following guidelines apply: A+ 600 Series course materials and exams (Essentials 220-601 & IT Technician 220-602) are acceptable until 31 Dec, 2009. Beginning 1 Jan, 2010, A+ 700 Series exams and course materials (Essentials 220-701 & Practical Application 220-702) are required.
