- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation Number is Q6063090912. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. It is the vendor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be assessed at http://www.arnet.gov/far and http://www.ios.doi.gov. The following FAR clauses and provisions are applicable to this procurement 52.212-1; 52.212-3 (http://orca.bpn.gov) 52.212-4; 52.212-5; 52.222.37; 52-225.01; 52.232-33; 52.232-34; and 52-239-01. The associated NAICS code for this solicitation is 334220 Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. Small Business Size Standard 750 employees. The National Park Service (NPS) requires Motorola Portable and Mobile Radios and accessories in accordance with the attached list of items. These Motorola items are required to meet the following standards for total fleet unity: 1) compatible and must inter-operate with the Michigan Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS); 2) must support Type II Smartnet/Smartzone functionality; 3) must operate in 800 mHz frequency band; 4) must be AES Encryption enabled; and5) must meet MIL-STD 810 F and IP-67; and 6) must have display and keypad (for trunking system ID, etc.). Additional Instructions to Offerors: 1) Only Motorola products/equipment are authorized under this procurement. 2) Must be an authorized Motorola reseller. Must be able to provide authorized reseller certification upon request. 3) No refurbished products/equipment will be considered. Delivery shall be within 90 days after receipt of order, FOB Destination. The shipping address is Midwest Regional Office, Supply Program, 601 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, NE 68102. This announcement will close on Wednesday, September 22, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. MST. FAR 52-212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items is applicable to this procurement. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable offer. Technical acceptability shall be evaluated based upon the contractor's ability to comply with all requirements stated in this solicitation. Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
