- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. VANTHCS intends to procure 6 each Electric Pen Drives for the Dallas VA in Dallas TX, 75216. This will be purchased from Synthes USA Sales, 1302 Wrights Lane East, West Chester, PA 19380. The Pen Drives include saws, drills, irrigation system, multiple attachments, hand & foot controllers, and connectors. The NAICS Code is 423450, and the small business size standard is 100 employees. This procurement will be processed under FAR Part 12 Commercial Items, and other than full and open competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and the close date is September 23, 2009. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of the Government.
