- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCEThe VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, Biloxi, MS intends to enter into sole source procurement with Rees Scientific Corporation; 1007 whitehead Road Ext; Trenton, NJ 08638. Rees Scientific will be in the final phase of installation and the validation of the Centron SQL monitoring System that has been partially installed at the VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, Biloxi, MS.NAICS 541990 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for the completion of installation, additional components, software upgrades and system validation for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement must submit information about their capabilities no later than 10:00am, CST, September 23, 2009 to: Rene Impey, Lead Purchasing Agent at Rene.Impey@va.gov. Telephone inquires will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.This award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. No solicitation will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
