- The Phoenix VA Health Care System has a requirement for Halfway House Services. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and supervision for both men and women halfway house services. Services include but not limited to a supervised alcohol and drug free environment, active affiliation with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) programs, supportive Social Service, structured and group activities, and individual counseling as required (with special emphasis on vocational rehabilitation in collaboration with VA program resources). This procurement is conducted under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8153. The NAICS code is 623220; small business size is $7 million. Estimated contract performance period is November 1, 2009 through October 31, 2010 plus four (4) one-year Option Periods extending the contract annually until October 31, 2014, if exercised by the Government. The tentative posting date for the solicitation is September 21, 2009 with offers being due October 16, 2009.
