Request for Quote This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) CST9L3LSB02042N2, Escalation of Force. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36. The items requested are as follows: ITEM NUMBER 1, 8oz Hand Held Air horn, Non-flammable, environmentally safe propellant 100% ozone safe, Quantity 408 each; ITEM NUMBER 2, Pocket Rocket Red Ariel Flares (launcher and three flares), Pen Flare Launcher, PN 949, Waterproof Floatable Storage Container, Lifetime Warranty, Compact Corrosion Resistant, 3 Red Aerial Flares Average Burn Time: 6.5 seconds each (19.5 seconds total), Altitude: Up to 300 feet, Average Brightness: 10,000 candela, or equal, Quantity 204 each. ITEM NUMBER 3, Pocket Rocket Replacement Flares (for item number 4) (3PK), Quantity 408 each; ITEM NUMBER 4, Vehicle Search Mirror, PN SM526, Extends to approximately 70" (177.80 cm) collapses to 36" (91.44cm), Complete with detachable 8"(20.32 cm) round convex acrylic mirror and light source clip, Mirror lens is replaceable and interchangeable, 8" flat mirror. Award will be made to the lowest technically acceptable offeror in accordance with FAR 13.106 Soliciting Competition, Evaluation of Quotations or Offers Award and Documentation.
