- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a firm-fixed price purchase order for Geotechnical Exploration at reservoirs along the Klamath River. Project Description: Drilling and sampling to obtain samples of sediments in the reservoirs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238910 and the related small business size standard in dollars is $14Mil. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. This acquisition falls under FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, which authorizes the use of simplified acquisition procedures. Solicitation R09PS20175 will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about September 16, 2009. The estimated date for receipt of quotes is September 24, 2009. The solicitation and specifications must be downloaded at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. Contractor Registration (CCR) as required by FAR 4.1102 applies to this requirement. In addition, FAR 4.1200 Annual Representations and Certifications, Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) apply to this requirement. Prospective contractors must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Furthermore, information on ORCA can be obtained via the Internet at http://orca.bpn.gov.
