Description
ATTENTION - DUE TO QUESTIONS THE CLOSING DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 18 SEP 09, 12:00 PM PST. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z3679194AB01; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36 effective 11 Aug 09; Defense DCN 20090825 effective 25 Aug 09, and AFAC 2009-0803 effective 18 March 2009. This acquisition is 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332321. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5670. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3442. Travis AFB has a requirement for installation of window screens. Measure, Supply and Installation of new window screens for the following Travis AFB Lodging Facilities. Buildings 440, 441, 442, 443, 444, 445, 446, 447, 417, 418, 419. 0001-AA : 84ea 24"X60", 168ea 42"X60", 84ea 26"x60", 84ea 24"X44", 24ea 24"x52", 72ea 34"x52", 24ea 16"X18". Total number of replacement window screens: 540 Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. We will be meeting at the Travis AFB Visitor Center at 0930 to gather and take accountability. You will not need to obtain a base pass because transportation will be provided by 60 CONS. As a failsafe measure, you should bring your vehicle registration, proof of insurance in case you have to bring your vehicle on base. Lodging maintenance personnel will direct contractor on windows requiring screen replacement. Please bring something to write with so you can annotate any questions you may have for the customer. If you wish to re-measure the windows bring appropriate tools/equipment or any additional items to help you obtain an accurate quote.. You are required to submit all of your questions in writing within 3 days of site visit and all of the answers will be posted on FedBizOps. This is to ensure a fair solicitation process to all potential contractors. After the site visit we will evaluate the requirement and determine if a modification to the solicitation is needed.
