- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9124N-09-T-0400 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-34. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 337127 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2009-09-16 14:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Presidio of Monterey, CA 93944 The USA ACA ARCC WEST requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001, U-shaped desk.Pedestal desk, bridge and credenza in a U-shape. Pedestal desk should be 20"x66". Bridge between pedestal desk and credenza should be 30" x about 24". Credenza desk should be 30" x 30". Pedestal desk side should have box/box/file storage under desk and credenza desk side should have file/file storage under desk. Should have appropriate cable management for CPU placement on either pedestal desk, bridge section or credenza. Should be rated for medium use. Construction: thermofused melamine (particle board) with laminate finish. Color: Medium cherry (or close match). Drawers should have metal brush-finish pull handles.Total dimensions: 89" x 66" x 31". Please see attached drawings., 1, LOT; For this solicitation, USA ACA ARCC WEST intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction.
