- The US Army, CECOM Contracting Center, Army Contracting Command is seeking potential sources for the production of Cable Assemblies, NSN: 5995-01-079-3719, Part Number: SM-D-811235. The Government is seeking capabilities to provide a quantity of five-hundred (500) units with a 100% option to buy an additional five-hundred (500) units. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. First Article Testing (FAT) will not be required. No Government Furnished Property will be provided for this effort. The delivery schedule is as follows: 200 each 210 days after contract (DAC), 200 each 240 days after contract and 100 each 270 days after contract. Interested parties must identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Suppliers capable of manufacturing these items in accordance with the Governments requirements within the required delivery schedule shall respond electronically. The response should include an introductory description (unclassified) outlining a viable approach that meets the Governments needs and should address production and delivery capabilities. Any interested source shall submit pricing for a quantity of five-hundred (500) Cable Assemblies, NSN: 5995-01-079-3719 and for the 100% option for an additional five-hundred (500) units. Please submit one (1) electronic copy of the submission to the US Army, CECOM Contracting Center, Army Contracting Command, Contract Specialist, Ms. Lisa Martikes at Lisa.Martikes@us.army.mil. Submit one (1) electronic copy to the CECOM LCMC Logistics and Readiness Center (LRC) to Ms. Wanda Gonzalez at Wanda.Gonzalez@us.army.mil. The drawings for this requirement will be posted on the Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) under the CECOM Market Research section. All parties who are interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access the drawings from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. All information must be submitted and received no later than 16 October 2009. This is a market survey requesting information only. The submission of this information is for planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items/services, or for the Government to pay for the information received. No solicitation will be issued against this notice. This market survey is issued IAW the requirements of FAR Part 8.602 in order to prepare a Comparability Determination.
