- Solicitation 1300135732 is issued as a synopsis/request for quote. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with American Electronics Incorporated for the line items listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The contract line item numbers and description are: CLIN 0001 – Field Support Services in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Facilities Management Team, which is organized to support all Research Development Test & Evaluation company codes/activities. This support will provide visitor control support 12 hours a day, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. The period of performance for this requirement will be from 21 September 2009 through 23 November 2009. These services will provide for visitor control for the advanced Hawkeye program until an automated security system is installed. The only way to meet this requirement is to physically man the reception desk in the building by greeting all visitors to ensure that they have a valid identification badge or visitor badge, maintain a log of all visitors on a daily basis, respond to walk in customer request and ascertain the nature of the visit, and ensure lock/key control measures are implemented for the building. Award is expected on or about 25 September 2009. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
