- The Air Force intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Carahsoft Technology Corp., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, and other incidentals necessary to provide cable service to Tinker AFB, OK. Synopsis estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date: Issued 16 Sep 09 Closes 22 Sep 09 The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities, test equipment, transportation and incidentals necessary to provide maintenance services for Quantum Hardware and Crossroads Fiber Channel Storage Router and Software at Tinker AFB: Quantum Model SR-M1-711, M1500 JGF34A0026 7X24 Gold Quantum Model SR-X7-711, PX720 FX0638AJB02959 7X24 Gold With 8 ea SLBBN-RTDX-GL11 PX720 Drives Quantum Model SR-X-711 PX720 FL0437AJB00853 7X24 Gold With 1 each SR-FC-711 PX720 FC Card and 6 each SLBBN-RTDX-G11 PX720 Tape Drives The proposed period of performance: 1-year History: Previously awarded to Carahsoft Technology Corp; FA8101-09-M-0011 In accordance with the FAR Availability of Funds, the Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is 30 Sep 09. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541519 with a size standard of $25M. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can be electronically registered at www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required, and contractors can electronically register at www.orca.bpn.org. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
