- This notice is provided for informational purposes only. The National Park Service, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, intends to conduct negotiations on a sole source basis with AT&T, a state mandated supplier, to upgrade existing 9-1-1 phone system and infrastructure. This procurement is in accordance to FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2), only one responsible source and no other service will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest, Proposals or Quotations. However, interested firms or persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting this in writing to the National Park Services as listed. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Park Service not to open this requirement to competition is solely within the discretion of the Park Service in consideration of what is in the best interest of the Government. The Park Service intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order within 10 days of this announcement. This announcement is for informational purposes only.
