- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the following: TSA's membership in the Conference Board and Six Sigma Executives Council. Accordingly, TSA intends to award a contract to: Conference Board of Mathematical Sciences 1529 18 th Street NW Washington DC, 20036 This contract will address the requirements of the Office of Security Operations (OSO) in maintaining membership in the Conference Board and Six Sigma Executives Council. TSA leadership has decided that membership in the Conference Board supports the goal for organizational improvements through the ability to have membership in numerous Councils that will support the TSA Lean Six Sigma Program. The Conference Board is the nation's leading and primary non-profit organization dedicated to creating and disseminating knowledge about management and the marketplace to help businesses/organizations strengthen their performance and better serve society through the planning and execution of councils. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. The Government will notify parties of the outcome of any proposal submitted in response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested vendors who may wish to seek subcontracting opportunities should contact the below point of contact (POC) for TSA.
