- Sole Source Justification DESCRIPTION The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with ADT Security Services, Inc., 3601 Eisenhower Ave, Suite 300; Alexandria, VA 22304-6456 to provide yearly maintenance for ADT Alarm systems with a four (4) hour response time to ADT equipment and the central monitoring station in various buildings on the Rome Research Site. The alarm systems are manufactured by ADT and ADT does not authorize other companies to work on their equipment. Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received within seven (7) days after the publication of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 561621. In accordance with FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds, funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made.
