- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award on a sole-source basis to Mid-Atlantic Communications, Inc., 68 Cool Springs Road, Fredericksburg, Virginia, 22405, an order for maintenance on Kenwood products including radios, Orbacom, and Trunking systems, for the period of 01 October 2009 through 30 September 2010. Mid-Atlantic Communications, Inc is the sole distributor for the needed services in the Dahlgren Area and as such exclusively holds the proprietary information necessary to perform maintenance duties. This order shall be firm fixed price. FOB Destination to Dahlgren, VA shall apply. This requirement will be awarded on an all or none basis. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closing date will be 21 September 2009 with an anticipated award date of 01 October 2009. Please provide all applicable shipping and handling charges and the proposed delivery date. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE. Electronic quote submission is encouraged to be submitted to bonnie.impastato@navy.mil, but the quote may also be faxed to (540) 653-7088. Items shall be delivered to the Receiving Officer, Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, Receiving Officer, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, Va 22448-5100.
