Description
Responding Back to Questions Aksed: 1. Consoles and Toters are the standard container for retention of classified paper. They are not standard, however, for retention of hard drives and electronic media: does the ATF plan to use the consoles and toters for non-paper items as well? If so, will they be willing to use separate containers for each of the three (3) materials? No, the hard drives are either picked up from HQ’s or FedEx’ed to the Landover location. There should only be storage in the Washington, DC location for paper and media. 2. What is the volume for each location ? National Tracing Center monthly volume is 10,000lbs 99 New York Ave monthly volume is 3500lbs Nat’l Lab monthly volume is 700lbs TOB/TSD monthly volume is 500lbs MMOC monthly volume is 1500lbs Media and hard drives vary since there is no volume regulation in place 3. What is the projected quantity? a) confidential paper retention; 110 toters and consoles for all sites b) hard drive retention; hard drives are kept locked up in a cage located at the Landover, MD location c) electronic media retention to be shredded on the respective scheduled date. One toter per site for media retention 4. Will hard drives be primarily desktop or laptop hard drives? Yes 5. Will they be removed from the CPU? Yes 6. Will the agency accept different forms of pricing to most accurately reflect the costs associated with each type of material? Yes For example: a) $XX/lb. for paper b) $YY/lb. for hard drives, OR $YY per each hard drive c) $ZZ/lb. for electronic media 7. Is there any prohibition against sub-contracting some of the labor (less than x %)? 8(a) has to do 51% 8. Will the hard drives and media be separate from paper/documents? Yes 9. Is the services on-site or off site Shredding? On Site Contractors will go through a Security Background check which will be provided to the awarded contractor. All other terms and codnitions remain the same.
