- NOTE: NOTICE TO CANCEL PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR ARTWORK PROJECT ON FEDBIZOPPS. The Solicitation Announcement for the Artwork Project for the Chalmers P. Wylie Ambulatory Care Center in Columbus, Ohio will be announced and posted on GSA EBUY and NOT on FEDBIZOPPS. ONLY GSA VENDORS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS PROJECT. The Department of Veterans Affairs Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center located in Columbus, OH has opened a new full replacement facility in Columbus, OH located at 420 James Road. As part of the finalizing of activation for this new facility, VA Columbus is requesting artwork services as outlined below. Provide artwork consultation services for a 290,000 square foot new Ambulatory Care Center. Services to include working with a committee to develop artwork concept, select proposed artwork, provide solid wood frames, white core double mat, clear acrylic or polycarbonate fronts, determination of artwork locations, assembly and installation. All mounting hardware is to be concealed. Hardware shall also be theft and tamper resistant. Non metallic mounting methods are required in specific diagnostic rooms. A presentation to a committee summarizing relevant experience and a proposal for this project is required for consideration. The solicitation will be posted by Thursday, September 17, 2009. The proposals will be due back by Tuesday, September 22, 2009. We plan on having the presentations conducted on Monday, September 28, 2009.
